September 16th is a mandatory attendance day from 8:00am-3:30pm for all 9th-12th graders. All 9th, 10th and 11th graders will take a full-length practice ACT through Academic Approach.  All seniors will complete post-secondary activities and enjoy their Senior BBQ.

Student safety is our top priority. When students feel safe in the building, they can focus on their growth and achievement and form strong relationships. Given the recent political climate, some of our students and families have expressed concerns about how our schools may interact with the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

NTA is partnering with the Chicago Department of Public Health and Blue Cross Blue Shield to provide a Vaccination Van at Northtown on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Get your student up t date with their immunizations for school. It is free, safe, and effective!

CICS Northtown Academy is administering the ACT and PreACT to students on April 8th and 10th.

All 9th, 10th and 11th graders will take a Practice ACT test to prepare for the April ACT.

We are pleased to announce that CICS Northtown Academy will reopen tomorrow morning. Doors open as early as 7:20am and classes will begin promptly at 8:00am. Students will report to their Advisory class by 8am to receive their Semester 2 schedules.
